My Workflow
As soon as the payment is completed I will start my work as early as possible. I'll draw a rough sketch based on the information I got from you. After the first sketch is done, I always ask for approval. During this phase, changes can easily be made.Each of my offered commission styles has a different way of further processing.
All of them are briefly described here:
• Sketching:
I refine the sketch, colour it and add details.• Lineart:
I draw clean line art and ask for approval after completion. Smaller changes can be made to the line art, such as changing a hand or a facial expression. As soon as I get my confirmation, I start with the colours and ask for confirmation again. Errors in colours/ markings can then be corrected. I finish the artwork with lights, shadows and details.• Painting:
the process of painting is always a little more special. I decide what to do next based on the character's pose or design, so relatively spontaneously. I make sure that you approve the design of your character promptly and I send wips in between. Sometimes I do a rough grayscale or colour concept so you can get an idea of what I have in mind• Custom:
usually I start with a clean line art and ask for approval after completion. Smaller changes can still be made to the line art. Sometimes I skip the line art step and start with creating a rough idea for a design first. How I proceed after confirming the sketch depends on the mood board, idea and pose of the custom.
I'll send you my concept idea for the colour/ markings. You can then ask for changes.
Keep in mind, one "rework-phase" is planned for the Basic Custom of 130€. So if your wishes go beyond the time frame in that phase, we have to talk about it and find a solution. To avoid this we can talk in advance about how many concepts you want to see and how frequently you would like to make changes, till we've created the perfect design for you.• Reference Sheet:

This step may repeat, if any extras like fullbodies, close ups, chibies etc. have been added to your reference sheet commission.
After I've completed your commissioned piece I'll send it to you and ask for a final confirmation. Smaller errors that have appeared during the process can be corrected.
The artwork is finally finished and will be sent to you by email as .png file upon request.In general, the following applies to every commission:
If, during the course of a commission, I notice that the wishes you expressed exceed the time frame as the commission process progresses or I should make changes compared to a phase previously confirmed by you, we need to talk about it and find a solution.
